This was a real treat of a project – the clients who are lucky to live in a very unusually secluded and secret little road in north London had wanted to upgrade their tiny front garden. They loved all things country & natural wanted to bring this feel to their London pad.
Adding a white picket fence boundary, soft grey riven sandstone paving, and a timber bike/ storage shed – painted in a soft green created a little ‘Country style’ front garden. The sandstone terrace was laid to define the space that also had to be practical and accommodate the client’s scooter.
An “L” shaped planting border was packed full of pretty delicate flowering shrubs and the quintessentially English white hawthorn tree Crataegus Laevigata was planted to provide beautiful may blossoms.
